Weave & Spin

In January 2023, Morrow founded the Weave & Spin performance series, with the support of the Orange County Arts Commission. Morrow recognized the need in the North Carolina Triangle area for more literary space that would welcome and feature members of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically marginalized communities. They have continued to direct, curate, and host the series since. From 2023-2025, Weave & Spin would feature one performer each month, followed by a community open mic. As of 2026, the series has changed format and now features multiple performers each month, without the open mic. Morrow has directed, curated, and hosted the series since its inception. They have had the honor of featuring poets, spoken word artists, memoirists, and musicians at the top of their artistic game, including Gabrielle Calvocoressi, Alexis Pauline Gumbs, AE Hines, Jaki Shelton Green, Dasan Ahanu, Destiny Hemphill, Fred Joiner, Crystal Simone Smith, Nick Courman, Debbie the Artist, Ashley Lumpkin, Carlina Duan, Emilia Phillips, Han Vanderhart, Jameela Dallis, and others.

Once hosted at the Eno Arts Mill Gallery, Weave & Spin now occurs at Eno House in Hillsborough on the third Wednesday of every month from 6-7 p.m. (doors open at 5:45 p.m.). Admission is always free, must be 18+ to enter.
